University years are a time of change. Everyone is trying to figure out where they belong in this big and crazy world. From Germany, to Hong Kong, to Canada, the next chapter of my travels will take me to the GORGEOUS city of Copenhagen, in Denmark to study for a semester at the University of Copenhagen.
One of my dear friends remarked, "I'm always saying Goodbyes." The planning, the packing, the goodbyes... this process use to just CRUSH my heart. It's sad when you leave a familiar place and the people you've come to love. Yeah, it's shitty and I've often envied those who grew up in a small town and are still best friends with the people from kindergarten. However, relocation has come to be a way of life for me.
So, I've come to a new conclusion - "I'm always saying HELLOs!" Hello, oh Hi there, didn't see you! What's up? How's it going?? Tell me about LIFE!!! ....... Ahh! This is flippin' exciting stuff people! I'm going to a new city in a new country on a different continent who speak a language that I will probably NEVER fully understand. I have no friends there, no familiar face to share an old inside joke... BUT, I don't think I'll ever tire of meeting new and interesting people.
And when I come back to Canada, I'll be saying a new round of HELLOs to all those familiar faces that I've missed and loved.
